Sandra was born in the Philippines, and lived in Hawaii and Japan during her childhood. As a Registered Dental Assistant in state of Texas and AAO certified assistant, she has spent 30 years working chairside in the orthodontic field. Complex cases are her specialty as she loves to be challenged. She loves getting to know our patients and their families and helping make their experience uniquely enjoyable. She feels very blessed to be part of our awesome team at Mission Orthodontics. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband of 33 years, Antonio, and her children Anthony and Cristelle. She supports the Austin Boxer Rescue and Texas Pekingnese Rescue. Sandra and her family enjoy traveling to see friends and family across the country and abroad. Her interests include meeting monthly with a local Book Club, trying out new cuisines and working out. #Reading, #HappyFoodie, #HookemHorns.

Christy was born in Washington D.C., but moved to Texas as fast as she could after traveling the world with her dad’s military career. She has been married to her better half, Jeremy for 18 years. Christy has been in the dental field for 25 years, having worked up front for most of her career but was a hygiene assistant for ten years prior to joining Mission Orthodontics. While at home, she adores spending time with her four fur babies! She feels blessed beyond measure to work with Dr. Wilson and her great Mission teammates. She loves to greet patients with a smile and make them feel at home here at Mission Orthodontics. She is happy to assist you with your appointment scheduling, make financial arrangements, or prepare referral letters to your dentist office. Born and raised right here in San Antonio, Tammie has been involved in the orthodontic field for over 24 years. As a veteran Mission Orthodontics staff member, she will help guide you through two of the toughest aspects of treatment: scheduling and insurance benefits. Prior to her career in orthodontics, she taught 2nd grade for 12 years. Her favorite part of working here is meeting our new patients and being able to personally get to know the families. Tammie and her husband, Randy, have been married for more than four decades and have three amazing sons, Jacy, Justin and Jordan. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and adorable grandchildren, Hadley, Hayden and Arabella and Jett. #GoAggies

Miriam grew up in a military family and spent most of her youth in Germany and Europe. She is a native born German and speaks it fluently. While attending UTSA, Miriam was given the opportunity to work as an Orthodontic Assistant by her former Orthodontist. This is where she found her calling for Orthodontics and love for interacting with people of all ages. After 13 years in the profession, she opted for a change and put her degree to good use by becoming a preschool teacher. Teaching helped her realize the importance of patience and being a good listener for both children and their parents so that expectations are properly communicated. Miriam re-entered the field (and out of early retirement) to join the Mission Orthodontics family 4 years ago. When she was approached with the opportunity to be treatment coordinator, it was right up her alley. Miriam’s goal is to ensure patients leave with more knowledge and confidence in their future smile than when they walked in.

Kevin was born in Monterrey, Mexico but relocated with his family to San Antonio when he was in elementary school. He is a proud graduate of Wagner High School in San Antonio after which he attended Kaplan College to obtain his dental assisting certificate. His favorite part of his job is fabricating orthodontic appliances in the lab and translating for our Spanish speaking patients. Kevin goes above and beyond to make sure all of the little things get done behind the scene. His jovial attitude and upbeat outlook on life brings immense enjoyment to all in our practice. Theresa joined our Mission Orthodontics family in February 2022 as a highly skilled and trained Orthodontic Assistant. Although Theresa may be a relatively new member of our team, she has a decade of experience in the world of dentistry, with a keen orthodontic skillset. Since joining our team, her favorite aspect of her job has been being a part of an amazing team and having the opportunity to help people feel confident about their smiles! Outside of the office, she cherishes spending time with her loved ones, going to the beach, attending concerts, and reading(does TikTok & Insta count?). Theresa has truly been an incredible addition to our team with the best laugh and very generous heart.
